Abstract In order to reduce defects such as pores, gold phases and cracks in powder metallurgy, scholars have studied the densification process of metallurgy. Based on study metallurgy deformation mechanism, this paper classifies summarizes numerical simulation theory methods. At present, is carried out mainly macroscopic, mesoscopic microscopic directions. Macro scale an application finite element method based continuum theory. The meso-scale discrete discontinuous media Cellular automata main microscale. Different modeling theories methods their own adaptability limitations. By combining various scales, material can be realized more accurately accurately.
